RMC Sport are reporting that PSG centre-back Sergio Ramos (36) risks a seven-game ban for his sending-off against Stade de Reims on Saturday, with a verdict expected on Wednesday.  According to RMC, the referee on the night, Pierre Gaillouste, didn’t mention within his match report any insult from Ramos. Rather, the Spanish defender was sent off for his aggressive response toward the referee upon receipt of his initial yellow card. However, the images shown by Canal Plus appear to show that Ramos called the French referee a “puta madre.” Should he be found guilty of making such an insult, Ramos could be punished with anything between a two and a seven-game ban. Botafogo, owned by prospective Lyon owner John Textor, have confirmed to Brazilian media that some payments have been delayed over the past months, notably bonuses and commissions.  Despite not paying some bonuses and commissions on time, all workers have, however, been paid. To justify these payment delays, the management are quoted as saying, “We are currently paying considerable unforeseen club debts.”  Since March, Textor has owned 90% of the Brazilian club through Eagle Football. Foot Mercato are reporting that three clubs are showing an interest in Stade de Reims’ promising young winger Nathanaël Mbuku (20).  Mbuku has made six appearances for Reims this season, all from the bench.
