As reported by Foot Mercato, Iranian international striker Sardar Azmoun has agreed personal terms with Lyon ahead of a possible January transfer move from Zenit St Petersburg. 26-year-old Azmoun is out of contract with the Russian side in summer and has agreed a 4.5 year contract with Ligue 1 outfit OL. Discussions are notably well underway for goalkeeper Paul Bernardoni to join Les Verts, as is the case for Senegal winger Sada Thioub. L’Union report this morning that Reims have triggered the permanent option on defender Andreaw Gravillon’s loan deal from Inter. The 23-year-old has signed with the Champagne club on a deal until 2025, with the permanent clause becoming a possibility once Gravillon had started 17 games for the club. The Guadeloupe native, who spent last year on loan at Lorient after previous spells across Italy, also made the announcement on his Instagram page, stating that he was “proud and happy to be officially Rémois”.
