Sardar Azmoun has agreement with Lyon, but deal is far off
As reported by Foot Mercato, Iranian international striker Sardar Azmoun has agreed personal terms with Lyon ahead of a possible January transfer move from Zenit St Petersburg. 26-year-old Azmoun is out of contract with the Russian side in summer and has agreed a 4.5 year contract with Ligue 1 outfit OL. However, Les Gones are not willing to pay more than €3m to sign him next month, for a player who is a free agent in summer. Saint-Étienne in talks to sign several Angers players on loan
Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato reports this afternoon that Saint-Étienne are in talks with Angers to sign several players on loan. Discussions are notably well underway for goalkeeper Paul Bernardoni to join Les Verts, as is the case for Senegal winger Sada Thioub. Reims sign Andreaw Gravillon permanently from Inter
L’Union report this morning that Reims have triggered the permanent option on defender Andreaw Gravillon’s loan deal from Inter. The 23-year-old has signed with the Champagne club on a deal until 2025, with the permanent clause becoming a possibility once Gravillon had started 17 games for the club. The Guadeloupe native, who spent last year on loan at Lorient after previous spells across Italy, also made the announcement on his Instagram page, stating that he was “proud and happy to be officially Rémois”. Michaël Cuisance will sign for Venezia for €5m + bonuses
Serie A side Venezia have fought off late competition from CSKA Moscow to conclude a deal with Bayern Munich to sign French attacking midfielder Michaël Cuisance from German giants Bayern Munich. Fabrice Hawkins reports this afternoon that Nantes forward Randal Kolo Muani has had numerous clubs interested in his services, with his contract expiring at the end of the season. Notably, Marseille and Newcastle United had approached, but the 23-year-old, who has 7 league goals this season, has turned down both. Instead, Eintracht Frankfurt look likely to complete the striker’s signing, having previously been linked to the Olympian.
