AS Monaco goalkeeper Loïc Badiashile moving to Cercle Brugge
L’Équipe and RMC report that 21-year-old goalkeeper Loïc Badiashile has decided to move on loan to Cercle Brugge for the 2019/20 season, the Principality side’s satellite club, from AS Monaco. The French shot-stopper spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Rennes, but the Brittany side have decided not to activate the €10m option to buy included in the agreement. No Tottenham – Lyon deal for Tanguy Ndombele… yet
As reported by L’Équipe journalist Bilel Ghazi, there is currently no agreement between Tottenham and Lyon for the transfer of French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, despite Gianluca di Marzio claiming than an agreement is imminent over a €62m + bonuses deal. The only new element in the player’s future is that Juventus are understood to have pulled out of talks with OL, almost certainly because of the imminent arrival of Adrien Rabiot. Ligue 1 champions PSG have this morning confirmed the departure of 21-year-old central midfielder Christopher Nkunku, who joins Bundesliga side RB Leipzig for €13m plus €2m in bonuses. Nkunku was seen as many during the Unai Emery era as a future great for PSG, but his versatility ended up being his downfall, with Les Parisiens and Thomas Tuchel using him in so many positions, he struggled to nail a single one down and make it his own.
