Official | Brest sign Jean Lucas on loan from Lyon
Ligue 1 side Lyon have announced the departure on loan of central midfielder Jean Lucas to fellow French first division side Brest until the end of the season. The 22-year-old joins SB29 over Nantes after preferring the playing style offered by Olivier Dall’Oglio – there will be no option to buy in the deal and Brest are not covering the entirety of the player’s wages for the duration of the loan. Aston Villa make €18m bid to Marseille for Morgan Sanson
Premier League side Aston Villa have submitted a formal offer to Ligue 1 club Marseille for 26-year-old French midfielder Morgan Sanson: €18m, as reported by RMC Sport. As reported by Get French Football News on Monday evening, the two clubs have been in advanced negotiations for several days, with OM seeking €25m, but forced to accept internally that they will be lucky to get that amount during this tricky economic and health context.
