PSG women’s manager Didier Ollé-Nicole questioned over investigation into alleged sexual assault

L’Équipe report today that Paris Saint-Germain Féminines manager Didier Ollé-Nicole has been questioned as part of an investigation into alleged sexual assault on one of his players, which he denies.

The club had announced last month that Ollé-Nicole had been temporarily removed from his duties over accusations of “inappropriate behaviour”.

He has not been arrested or kept in custody, but was questioned by investigators from the Versailles judicial police. He was the subject of a free hearing, at the request of the head examining magistrate in charge of the case, Joëlle Nahon.

The same judge is also in charge of the investigation into the attack on midfielder Kheira Hamraoui last November, when the French international was dragged out of a car on her way back from a club event and hit with an iron bar. This initial case has led to “new elements” on Ollé-Nicole’s alleged inappropriate behaviour towards his players emerging and the opening of a separate legal investigation. The 60-year-old coach is being investigated over alleged “sexual assault by a person in authority“, with “inappropriate comments” and a “hand to the behind” during a pre-season tour in the USA, on a player who was a minor at the time.

The former Clermont manager has denied both, while the player and her father, who also had a hearing with the police, have decided against filing a legal complaint.

It remains to be seen whether the examining magistrate decides to open legal proceedings against Ollé-Nicole regarding the case. The coach himself did not respond to L’Équipe‘s request for a comment on Tuesday night.
