Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make a major piece of history tonight when Manchester United take on Burnley at Old Trafford.

The Norwegian has been a revelation since replacing Jose Mourinho and will become the first manager to begin his reign at a club with seven successive top-flight victories if he wins again this evening.

The Red Devils’ fine form of late has seen them pull level with Arsenal in fifth and they now have realistic hopes of claiming a top-four finish or better.

Burnley, meanwhile, are still in need of points to put some breathing room between themselves and the relegation zone.

United beat the Clarets at Turf Moor back in September thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s double.
