José Mourinho called Paul Pogba in August

According to L’Équipe, José Mourinho called Paul Pogba last month in an attempt to convince him to join Chelsea from Juventus.

They say that negotiations took place orally between the two clubs, that incredible sums were informally offered, but Juventus decided that they would not be selling their French midfield starlet at any price.

In April, Pogba told his entourage that he dreamt of a move to Spain, but Real Madrid is unlikely to be an option because of the poor relations between Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and the player’s agent Mino Raiola.

Barcelona? The idea of a deal in 2016 suits all three parties, but Josep Maria Bartomeu’s re-election makes a deal less likely.
