West Ham United make £31m offer for Michy Batshuayi

Premier League side West Ham United have made a £31m (40 million Euros) offer for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, according toThe Guardian.

The report claims that Marseille have yet to respond to this offer and that West Ham already attempted to sign the former Standard Liege frontman in January but were told that he was not interested in leaving OM halfway through the season.

Claims inside the report also suggest that a deal is likely to be concluded before the EURO 2016 championships, however, there is a possibility that the Belgian international remains at the club depending on the status of the impending new ownership at Marseille.

Juventus have also made it clear that they intend to match West Ham United’s offer, with Alvaro Morata apparently set to leave at the end of the season.

AS Roma, Tottenham and Liverpool are all long-term admirers of the Belgian international but might be put off by the enormous bid that London side West Ham have just made.
