Mathieu Debuchy wins Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for February

St Étienne full-back Mathieu Debuchy has beaten PSG’s Neymar and Montpellier shot-stopper Benjamin Lecomte to the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for February, the players’ union has confirmed.

Debuchy joined Les Verts less than 2 months ago during the January transfer window from Arsenal.
