No Tottenham – Lyon deal for Tanguy Ndombele… yet
As reported by L’Équipe journalist Bilel Ghazi, there is currently no agreement between Tottenham and Lyon for the transfer of French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, despite Gianluca di Marzio claiming than an agreement is imminent over a €62m + bonuses deal.
The only new element in the player’s future is that Juventus are understood to have pulled out of talks with OL, almost certainly because of the imminent arrival of Adrien Rabiot.
Spurs are now alone in pole position to land the French midfielder.
RMC insist that the Italian journalist is right and that a bid worth more than €60m has been put on the table bu Spurs in recent hours.
The outlet claims that this matches OL’s demands, but adds that discussions will continue between both clubs, essentially the report contradicts itself.
Lyon have neither accepted nor rejected this bid so far, but talks can now be viewed as being at an advanced stage.
