Rafael in advanced talks with Besiktas

30-year-old Brazilian right-back Rafael is in advanced negotiations to quit Lyon for Turkish side Besiktas, according to RMC.

Rafael currently sits 3rd in the OL pecking order at right-back behind Léo Dubois and Kenny Tete and has been told by the club to find an exit door this summer.

There is no agreement yet between the relevant parties for a deal to be confirmed, but Rafael is considering Besiktas’ proposal seriously, having enquired with current team-mate Marcelo about the club, where he was signed from in 2017.
