AC Milan more confident on Renato Sanches than Sven Botman due to English interest

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan are continuing to discuss the transfer of Lille pair Renato Sanches and Sven Botman but are becoming more confident over the signing of Sanches than of Botman.

Worried about Premier League interest in the 22-year-old Dutch centre-back Botman, Milan now see his signing as more tricky than that of the Portuguese midfielder but are still planning on adding both players to their squad.

PSG have also been linked with Sanches in recent days due to the impending arrival of sporting director Luis Campos. Di Marzio also mentions options such as Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi and Club Brugge’s young attacker Charles De Ketelaere are being considered by Milan too.
