EVOLVE #126 Results (4/13): Austin Theory Calls out NXT’s Adam Cole

EVOLVE World Heavyweight champion Austin Theory has called out NXT star Adam Cole at EVOLVE #126. The event took place in Ybor City, Florida on April 13 and featured a full night of action with the company’s top stars.

But Theory’s challenge was a highlight of the event, because the champ accused Cole of being a choke artist. The leader of The Undisputed Era recently lost against Johnny Gargano in the NXT Championship match at Takeover: New York on April 6.

EVOLVE has a working agreement with NXT, allowing the two companies to do business together. WWE has signed several of EVOLVE’s stars to NXT including The Street Profits and most recently, Shane Strickland. In exchange, those stars and others, come back to work EVOLVE events. The most recent example is The Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly, who faced lost to Theory in a title match at EVOLVE #125 on April 4.
