Every Premier League stadium ranked by how unsafe the surrounding area is
If you want to head to a Premier League football match in the knowledge you’re likely to be safe from the risk of crime, you should head to Brighton & Hove Albion, an investigation has revealed.
With fan safety at games a concern, football ticketing company Ticketgum.com has taken a look into the number of crimes committed within a one mile radius of every top flight stadium.
Using the UK crime statistics from November, they have shown the surrounding area of the Falmer Stadium saw just 64 offences within the distance.
Incidents which count towards the figures include, anti-social behaviour, burglary, robbery, vehicle crime, violence and sexual offences, public disorder and weapons, shoplifting, criminal damage and arson, drugs, bicycle theft, possession of weapons, public order, and theft from the person.
