Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future remains uncertain
According to France Football, PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future remains uncertain as we enter the final month of the summer transfer window.
The report in the weekly magazine concedes that doubts have arisen about PSG’s ability to keep the Swede from moving, fears which first emanated when the player admitted in late July that his future lay in the hands of his agent Mino Raiola.
The report confirms that AC Milan have offered the player a 3 year contract where he would earn €8m a year net. The Italian side have also explained to Ibra where he would fit into their team, behind the attacking duo that is Bacca and Luiz Adriano.
AC Milan are waiting for Thai investor Bee Taechaubol to finalise his transaction which involves buying a considerable portion of the club. Should this go through, AC Milan will launch a free offensive this month to prise the player away from PSG, certainly.
In the meantime, relations between Zlatan and PSG are described as tense, with the Swede having paid Al Khelaifi a visit in Doha in the middle of June to try to force a change in his contract which currently sees him earn less in his final year with Les Parisiens than he has been per year since his arrival in the French capital. PSG told him that was not possible.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s entourage and family are very much entertaining the idea of AC Milan… This one will undoubtedly roll on throughout the month…
