Lille to make 3rd proposal to Gent for Jonathan David

La Voix du Nord report that Ligue 1 side Lille intend to make a third proposal to sign 20-year-old Canadian international attacker Jonathan David.

Gent have rejected two bids from Les Dogues so far, one worth €25m plus €5m in bonuses, the second worth €27m plus €2m in bonuses, both viewed as unacceptable by the Belgian club.

The LOSC board remain convinced by the player’s potential, as well as his desire to join the Ligue 1 club. Thus, they will make a final offer, worth €30m excluding bonuses, for Gent to change their minds. Decisive days in this saga.
